Washington D.C.

As of 2016, mold assessors and remediators working in Washington, DC must obtain a license from the DC Department of the Environment.  In addition to education and experience requirements, the licensing law requires applicants to pass an approved examination administered by the American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC).
